Subject: Reminder: Special Climate Meeting and Luncheon Scheduled for Friday Oct. 18 at the Rincon Beach Resort Hotel at 12 Noon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To all Climate Students:
As announced previously, a special luncheon will be held on Friday Oct. 18,
2002 at the Rincon Beach Resort Hotel, located just north of Mayaguez.
All graduate and undergraduate climate students are invited to attend this
special occasion. You will be given the opportunity to meet and listen to short
presentations by all PIs and Co-PIs associated with Climate studies.
There is a need for all of you to know what is going on in all climate
related areas. It is important that you get a good overview of current and
future academic affairs in Atmospheric Science and Climate change studies.
In addition you need to know who is who and who is doing what!
Both Dr. Jorge Gonzalez and Dr. Ramon Vasquez are urging all climate
students to make an effort to attend. Each Professor and Researcher will
give a short presentation in the afternoon. All of you are invited to
attend the afternoon session after lunch, which is expected to last until
about 4 PM.
See all of you there!
On behalf of Dr. Jorge Gonzalez and Dr. Ramon Vasquez,
Cordially,
Pieter,UPRM
