1.3 Special Unix Training Course for Climate undergraduate and graduate students

In order to run the Regional Atmospheric Model System (RAMS), I took this trainning course. Now I'm ready for take the RAMS trainning course.

To the students interested in the UNIX Training Course:

This is to announce that a special Unix Training Course for Climate
undergraduate and graduate students will begin  on Monday Nov 11, 2002 at
8 AM in Monson Lab M-110 or M-117. Mr. Luis Lopez will teach the course
from 8 AM till 12 noon and from 1 PM till 4 PM on Monday Nov 11, Saturday
Nov 16 and Saturday Nov 23. The purpose of the course is to give you a
"quick start" in learning Unix. Practice hands-on sessions are part of the
course.

The course is sponsored by UPRM NASA EPSCoR and NOAA CREST thanks to
Dr. Jorge Gonzalez. Climate students are encouraged to take adventage
of this opportunity. A total of 11 students have signed up. There is
room for five (5) more! The course is free of charge. The only "price"
you pay is the use of one (1) holiday (Veteran's Day) and two (2)
Saturdays! Please send all questions regarding this course to me. You
